E-Fuels: Sewage to Diesel and Waste to Fuel
The Paszti-White process creates carbon neutral transportation fuels at industrial scale. Class A and Class B biosolids and sorted green waste are converted into drop-in replacement fuels for aviation and transportation applications including,
・Sustainable Aviation Fuel
・Renewable Diesel
・Renewable Gasoline
The heart of the Paszti-White process is a modular supercritical water reactor that can process 4 tons/hr of biosolids. The output of the closed-cycle reactor is upgraded, deoxygenated bio-oil. Further distillation produces gasoline, diesel and kerosene fractions, non-condensing gases, and steam.
Powering this supercritical water reactor, is a combination of green electricity and recycled heat from the process. External hydrogen is not necessary for this process.

Carbon Sequestration
Supercritical water reactors are used to create bio-oil from plant-based feedstocks. Biosolids (85% water / 15% solids) are an ideal feedstock since they are derived from biogenic material, collected in central locations (i.e., wastewater treatment plants), are produced continuously and at large scale.
Bio-oil created from sewage sludge contains 40%-60% carbon by weight; with suitable treatment to prevent polymerization, bio-oil can be pumped underground, thereby permanently sequestering carbon at scale.
The necessary inputs for this process are,
・Sewage sludge, organic waste, and biosolids
・Green Electricity
